  6. This topic page demonstrates
  7. how the top of the page
  8. may be locked such that
  9. when the rest of the page
  10. is scrolled, the top does
  11. not scroll. This text is
  12. deliberately only written
  13. in short lines so that the
  14. page fills up to demonstrate
  15. scrolling.
  16. The important features of this
  17. topic are the use of the {\b \\keepn}
  18. and the {\b \\pard} RTF commands.
  19. You can place as many lines as
  20. you like between the keepn and
  21. the pard statements.
  22. Inserting of the RTF commands can be
  23. done automatically by selecting the
  24. text to appear in the locked area with
  25. the mouse and then clicking on the
  26. 14th toolbar button or selecting the
  27. Text/Lock top of page menu option.

  29. To set the colour of the locked
  30. area, you should select the
  31. {\b Project/Main} Window menu item
  32. in HelpBuilder and change the
  33. {\b non-scrollable area colour}. By
  34. default it is white, however to
  35. demonstrate the feature, it has been
  36. changed to yellow here. You should
  37. also select {\b Preset} or {\b Maximised}
  38. main window sizing to make the colours
  39. take effect.
